Ce scanner, l'Epson Perfection 2400 PHOTO, est un scanner USB avec un dos pour les transparents (diapos ou négatifs). Il marche parfaitement sous linux avec Xsane.

Il faut installer les paquets suivants sur votre système : sane, xsane et sane-utils. Ensuite on allume son scanner, ce qui devrait générer quelques lignes dans votre fichier /var/log/messages :

On va maintenant vérifier que le scanner est bien détecter par xsane :

$ sudo sane-find-scanner

Si vous ne lancez pas cette commande avec sudo ou en tant que root, vous n'aurez peut être pas tous les scanners présents qui seront détectés.
